The Daily Post is playing an April Fool’s joke on me. They spelled today’s Daily Prompt wrong.
Colorful.
ColoUrful.
I’m Canadian eh? And damn proud of it.

Listen to music. It could save your soul. Be kind. It could save someone’s world. Wear a hat. It could save your life.
CongratUlations. We lost our ‘u’s over the border here…..which is why you got ‘fooled’ by the Daily Post…they thought they were spelling ‘colorful’ correctly….. 😉

If I recall correctly, I think Webster, as in the dictionary Webster guy, is the one who got rid of all the “useless” extra letters from British/Canadian spelling to Americanize it. More efficient for you I guess eh? Haha.
Thanks for the note Embecee, hope you’re having a kindness-filled kinda day … Marianne

You know why? They are trying to make it easier for us. I quit inserting the U a while ago, every time I spelled color, labor and what have you with a U, I’d see it underlined with red. I decided I may as well forget the U. I’m not only a Canadian, I studied the British system of spelling. 🙂

Brovo! From eh to zed, we Canadians plough through with vigour. We walk the extra kilometre to be neighbourly. It’s at the centre of our fibre. No grey areas here!

The same wish for you, too. I’m willing the remaining snow to melt from my yard. How Canadian is that!
And by brovo, I meant brava. Arrrgh.

I might be just a wee tad more Canadian at this hour at least. We’re in for 10-15 cm tonight so I’m willing it to not come at all haha!

Touché. April snow is just rude. Only redeeming factor is that it won’t last long.
